Mineralogical Composition

Overview

We have the equipment and the software to offer the following tests:

• Qualitative and quantitative phase analyse of soil, clay, rock, cement a.o.
• changes in crystallographic parameters during heating (up to 450 °C) and in defined atmosphere (e.g. relative humidity)

• Qualitative analyse program Diffrac plus EVA (Bruker)
• Peakfitprogram TOPAS P (Bruker)
• Rietveldprograms AutoQuan and BGMN (Seifert GE)

Remark

Winner of the international Reynolds-Cup contest of the Clay Minerals Society (CMS) in Quantitative Mineral Analysis of Clay-Bearing Rocks in 2012, and 3rd place in 2004.
